AUBURN — Members of Pine Cone Chapter 26, Order of the Eastern Star, will meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9, at the Masonic Hall, 1021 Turner St. The meeting will be preceded by an Eastern Star Training Award for Religious Leadership supper at 6:15 p.m., for a donation of $3.
District 4 chapters participating will be Pioneer 11, Lakeside 60 and Pine Cone 26. All money will go to the ESTARL program. Jerri A. Holt, past grand matron and chairman of the program in Maine will be present. The chapter will honor all past and present appointive grand officers with special honor to Sandra Dunlap, grand marshal of the grand chapter of Maine.
The chapter is collecting school supplies to be given to a school in Auburn. Pine Cone has the travel emblem “Mustang Sally” for District 4.
All Eastern Star members are welcome.
