LEWISTON — Lewiston Adult Education will offer a variety of art and craft classes this fall.

Drawing classes, taught by Vincent Myrand of Captive Elements Art House, will include Beginning Drawing, Advanced Drawing and Children’s Book Illustration.

Painting classes, offered by new and returning instructors, include One Stroke Painting, The Joy of Oil Painting, Watercolor: Intermediate Advanced and Watercolor: The Four Seasons.

Award-winning photographer Roger Duncan is scheduled to teach three photography classes, including Photography: Beyond “Auto,” Fine Art Photography and a Camera-Buying Seminar. Graphic designer Tessa Herland will also offer a one-day seminar called Enhance Your Digital Photos.

New sculpture and 3-D art classes will also be available, including Introduction to Welding Sculpture and Introduction to Book Arts. Local artist and teacher Jody Dube will return to teach pottery and Jim Nutting of Maine Art Glass will return to teach two stained glass courses.

Several levels of knitting and crocheting courses will also be offered.

Elizabeth Derenburger will return to teach several quilting classes at a variety of levels and will also offer two levels of rug braiding.
