SOUTH PARIS — Sunday, Sept. 12 will mark the opening of another Sunday School season at First Congregational Church, 17 East Main St. The church offers age appropriate lessons from preschool to high school. A nursery is also offered for the youngest friends of the church.

According to the Rev. Don Mayberry, the children are invited to come to the start of church and then after the first hymn there is a brief children’s time where children are invited to come forward for a story or song and made to understand that they are a welcomed part of the church.

Then, they proceed as a group to the Haskell House building for classes. This Sunday is Rally Day and the time together will be spent on getting acclimated. Participants will get their weekly materials, meet their teachers and have a snack.

All children are welcome to the program and preregistration is not necessary.
