I am voting for Libby Mitchell for governor, and here is why:

It is not because she is a female, Democrat, or her age. I’m voting for her because she knows how to get things done in Augusta. Her years as a member of the House, Speaker of the House, senator and Senate president, all show the traits of someone who is energetic, educated in politics and understands how things work in Augusta.

Many say they can do better, until elected, then can’t, because of inexperience.

With the economic and job situation we are in, inexperience is not the best course for Maine to take.

People take their taxes to an accountant and their cars to a mechanic because they want people who know what they are doing. The same goes for the governor. A governor needs to know how the system works in order to work efficiently.
