This is in response to an article by Dan Hartill, printed Aug. 16, in which it was written that I would be a nominee for the Androscoggin County Budget Committee on the November ballot.

That is incorrect

A caucus was held at a Lewiston City Council meeting, at which time nominations were made for individuals to represent the city of Lewiston on the Androscoggin County Budget Committee. A ballot was then prepared and the members of the Lewiston City Council voted at the meeting, held on Aug. 10, for three individuals, which included myself, to represent the city of Lewiston on the Androscoggin County Budget Committee.

I just wanted to set the record straight.
