Has anyone noticed how our government is so concerned that no one offends Muslims and we have to walk on pins and needles when it comes to treatment of the Koran? Government officials and military leaders are concerned that the church that wants to burn the Koran will cause violence and danger to our troops.

Excuse me, but I don’t believe it will make any difference in the amount of violence.

The Muslims who are causing the violence don’t need any excuse for violence other than that we are Americans and infidels. True “peace loving” Muslims will see it for what it is, and that is intolerance from a few people practicing their constitutional freedom of expression, the same as the Muslims who want to build an Islamic center on the hallowed ground at ground zero.

We are, however, supposed to show tolerance when Muslim extremists burn the symbol of our freedom — the American flag — or burn our soldiers or president in effigy or build an Islamic center at the site of the worst attack on American soil in history.

I don’t know any true Christians who would commit murder if someone burned the Bible. Maybe it’s time to stop worrying about insulting our enemies and concentrate on winning the war.
