LISBON FALLS — The first Worumbo Blues Festival will be held on Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Railroad Restaurant and Tavern.

Performing between 2 and 10 p.m. will be Mark “Guitar” Miller, Jimmy and the Soulcats, Pam Baker and the SG’s, Denny Breau and Blue Steel Express along with special guests Ralph Thompson, Jerry Smith and Zack Pomerleau.

The Worumbo Blues Festival will recreate the atmosphere of the Southern tent-show blues revival, with a barbecue menu offered throughout the day.

This “mini-festival” is an all-ages show and is unique in that it’s the first time all of the musicians involved will appear on the same stage on the same day, according to Kevin Kimball of the Maine Blues Festival.

Admission is $10, children 12 and under free. Advance tickets are available at the Railroad Restaurant and all Bull Moose music stores. The restaurant is on Lisbon Road, Route 196.
