LEWISTON — Gerald A Partridge, 71, a resident of Lisbon Falls, died Saturday, Sept. 11, at Central Maine Medical Center, after a long illness, with his family by his side.

He was born in Auburn, Feb. 17, 1939, the son of Alvin Partridge and May (Bowie) Partridge. He worked several jobs in his lifetime, but the place he worked longest was at Bath Iron Works for 36 years.

He enjoyed going fishing with his friends and being with family. He was always ready to give someone a helping hand.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 50 years, Charlene (Larochelle) Partridge; two sons, Philip Partridge and wife, Sonya, of Germany, and James Partridge and companion, Karon Hughes Taylor, of Illinois; two daughters, Valinda Rossignol and companion, Wil Benner, of Auburn and Denise Mosher and husband, Lawrence, of Buckfield; he had nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family would like to thank the wonderful people at CMMC that took care of Jerry, on all the floors he was on, as he was in and out for his hospital stays.
