WEST PARIS – A party will be held at Beth Coffin’s new house on High Street on Sunday to thank those involved in the work.
“We are having a thank-you picnic for anyone who helped the project be a success,” Coffin said.
The party is from 1 to 5 p.m. Coffin said there will be a barbecue, belly dancers, a disc jockey and live music to celebrate their recent move into the home. Rain date is Sept. 26.
The 25-year-old West Paris woman suffers from spinal muscular condition, two blood diseases and a crooked spine that has left her wheelchairbound. She lives with her mother, Bonnie Coffin, and Bonnie’s partner, Gary Waterhouse.
Their former home, an old trailer with a stick-built addition on a steep hill, was falling apart so people formed Beth’s House Committee to raise money to build them a home.
