FARMINGTON — Hattie Laliberte tallied two goals to lead the University of Maine at Farmington to a 2-1 victory over the University of Southern Maine in women’s field hockey action Wednesday afternoon.

The Huskies (2-4) opened the scoring when Ariel Kaplan converted a feed from Whitney McDaniel at the 20:38 mark.

Laliberte tied the game at 30:52 when the senior finished off a long carry for an unassisted score. The Beavers (2-0) survived four penalty corners, including a shot by Kailey Bubier of Auburn.

Farmington took the 2-1 lead at 50:13 when Laliberte finished off a touch by Jessica Martin.
