LEWISTON — Darleen Waterman, 54, of Livermore, passed on Sunday, Sept. 12, at Central Maine Medical Center.
She was born Dec. 26, 1955, in Lewiston, to Weldon and Betty Poland. She graduated from Central Maine Medical Center School of Nursing in 2002. She was currently working for Togus Hospital and the Harris House.
Darleen had an abiding faith and served tirelessly using her spiritual and musical gifts as a blessing to others. With a smile that lit up the room, she will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her adoring husband, Duane C. Waterman of Livermore; her mother, Betty Stanley and Elmo Poland (Peanut) of West Paris; two brothers, Charles Poland of West Paris and William Poland of South Paris; her children, Kimberly Reynolds of Houston, Texas, Christopher Waterman of Sumner and Craig Waterman of Boston, Mass., and Melissa Hertell of Concord, N.H.; five grandchildren; loving relatives; and her extended church family.
Darleen was predeceased by her father, Weldon Poland; stepfather, Bob Stanley; and her son, Virgil Waterman.
Isaiah 40:31: “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
