Hancock

OXFORD — Donald and Barbara Hancock of Oxford celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary recently at Cundy’s Harbor. Party hosts were family members.

Mr. Hancock and the former Barbara June Wheeler were married Aug. 18, 1950, at Grace Lutheran Church in Lewiston. They have two daughters, Patrica Bellenoit and Pamela Hancock, and three grandchildren, Jareb Dyer, Joni Gordon and Rachel Verrill. Their great-grandchildren are Madison and Mallory Gordon and Lucas Verrill.

Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Hancock operated a drapery shop in Mechanic Falls. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Hancock was employed many years at Lewiston Welding Supply.

Original wedding attendants present were Mrs. Hancock’s twin sister, Beverly, and husband, Jerry Wheeler.
