The SEARCH (Seek Elderly Alone, Renew Courage and Hope) program participated in the United Way Day of Caring event in September. Four elderly clients received volunteer support that day for various home and yard projects. Employees from Androscoggin Bank, Androscoggin Trust and Investment Services, Anthoine Financial group, ING, Marden’s and CMMC School of Radiologic Technology also assisted with the projects, helping the elderly clients with projects that they were no longer able to do for themselves. Pictured during the Day of Caring from left are Deb Anthoine; Harry Dixon, SEARCH client; Kate Cornelio; Lisa Crowell; Wendy Levesque; missing from picture, Rachel Keene. To volunteer with SEARCH, call Wendy Russell, program director, at 784-0157.
