NEWRY — The wedding of Allyson J. Craib and Richard K. Florence was held at 5:30 p.m. on July 24 at Sunday River. The Rev. Don Mayberry officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Florence is the daughter of Doug and Sue Craib of Harrison. Mr. Florence is the son of Rich and Nancy Florence of Bridgewater, Mass.

The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a diamond white strapless satin gown and she wore her sister’s veil. She carried a bouquet of white roses and white and blue hydrangea.

Jessica Engle served as matron of honor for her sister and bridesmaids were Kyla Decato, Kayla Baker and Susan Morris, friends of the bride and Elizabeth Florence, sister of the bridegroom. Caroline Engle, niece of the bride, was flower girl.

Performing the duties of best man for his brother was Collin Florence and ushers were Casey Florence, another brother, Sean Cronin and J.D. Duncan, friends of the bridegroom, Jason Engle, brother-in-law of the bride and Michael Enyedy and David Enyedy, cousins of the bride.

A reception followed at the Sunday River Grand Summit Resort and Hotel, after which the couple traveled to Hawaii. They are residing in Hanson, Mass.

The bride received a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and a master’s degree in education from Lesley University. She is a fifth-grade teacher at Duval Elementary School in Whitman, Mass.

The bridegroom received a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College and a master’s degree in education from Fitchburg State College. He is a seventh-grade teacher at Hingham Middle School in Hingham, Mass.
