TURNER — The wedding of Lauren Judith Doiron and Nathanael David Thompson was held at 5 p.m. on July 23 at Turner Village Church in Turner. Pastors Guy Thompson and Roger Cousineau officiated at the ceremony.
Mrs. Thompson is the daughter of Edward and Dorothea Doiron Jr. of Turner. Mr. Thompson is the son of Guy and Carole Thompson of Elysburg, Pa.
The bride wore a strapless A-line gown of re-embroidered lace, crystal beading and sequins, with semi Cathedral train and a veil to match. She carried an assortment of white and green hydrangea, Calla lilies and bachelor button flowers.
A sister of the bride, Rachel Doiron, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Megan Thompson and Katybeth Clarke, sisters of the bridegroom, and Maranda Drew and Corinne Vierkand, friends of the bride. Madelyne Keneborus, family friend, was flower girl.
Robert Sobocinski, best friend of the bridegroom, was best man. Ushers were Joshua Thompson, brother of the bridegroom, Ryan Clarke, brother-in-law of the bridegroom, and Christopher Thompson and Jonathan Thompson, brothers of the bridegroom. Brayden Thompson, nephew, was ring bearer.
A reception followed at the Turner Highlands in Turner after which the couple traveled to Bar Harbor. They are residing in Fayetteville, N.C.
The bride is currently attending the University of Maine at Farmington, to receive her bachelor’s degree in elementary education.
The bridegroom is currently enlisted in the U.S. Army and is stationed at Fort Richardson.
