AUBURN — Eudora Belle (Dodi) Juneau, 95, of Auburn died Sunday, Sept. 19, at her residence.
She was born in Brockton, Mass., Aug. 2, 1915, the daughter of Fred and Angie (Field) Ashton Jr. She graduated from Edward Little High School and worked at Ward Brothers in Lewiston for more than 40 years.
She married the love of her life, Robert Juneau on July 5, 1937. She was very proud of her husband’s founding of Maine Microfilm and helped him in his business.
She was a member of St. Philip’s Church in Auburn, where she was an active member of the family group, and the Philipian Seniors. She was also a member of the Robin Dow Seniors of Auburn.
Survivors include one sister-in-law, Jeannine Ashton; nieces, Jacqueline Dwinal, Patricia Levesque and Kim Warf.; nephews, William Caron, Mark Ashton and Gary Ashton; as well as several grandnieces and grandnephews.
Dodi was a cat and dog lover and especially loved her constant companion, her cat, Missy.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert; her sister, Marion Ashton Caron; her brother-in-law, Paul Caron; and her brother, Erland Ashton.
Dodi’s family would also like to acknowledge her two dear friends, Rosalie Damon, and Gayle Johnson for giving help and joy to her in the last few months of her life.
Dodi touched many lives with her generosity, as well as her love, and caring.
