RUMFORD — The Police Department responded to 60 complaints between 6 p.m. Sept. 12 and 6 p.m. Sept. 19. These do not include traffic stops.

Arrests/summonses

 Sept. 13 at 10:50 p.m. — Christopher Walker, 31, of Rumford was arrested by acting Cpl. Mills on a warrant for failure to pay fines for a domestic assault on River Street. Walker posted $370 cash bail.

 Sept. 14 at 9:20 a.m. — Christa Casey, 22, of Peru was arrested by Capt. Daniel Garbarini on a charge of violation conditions of release on Lincoln Avenue. Casey was unable to post bail, taken to Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

 Sept. 17 at 8:23 p.m. — Tyler Child, 21, of Peru was arrested by Sgt. James Bernard on a charge of disorderly conduct on Hancock Street. Child posted $300 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

 Sept. 17 at 8:26 p.m. — Nicole Belskis, 26, of Mexico was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of domestic assault on Hancock Street. Belskis posted $600 unsecured bail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Nov. 2.

 Sept. 18 at 4:26 p.m. — Ricky Sinclair, 54, of Peru was arrested by Ptl. Lawrence Winson on a charge of operating under the influence on Waldo Street. Sinclair was unable to post bail, was taken to the Oxford County Jail and is scheduled to appear in Rumford District Court on Dec. 7.

 Burglary

 Sept. 16 at 7:40 p.m. — Ptl. Ian Theriault is investigating a burglary in which someone took approximately $3,000 in property from a construction site on Prospect Avenue.

 Criminal mischief

 Sept. 14 at 8:52 p.m. — Ptl. Donald Miller is investigating an incident where someone kicked a door on Lincoln Avenue. Approximately $200 in damage.

 Sept. 17 at 5:13 p.m. — Acting Cpl. Mills investigated an incident where a vehicle had a window smashed on Lincoln Avenue. Approximately $200 in damage.

 Sept. 17 at 6:23 p.m. — Ptl. Lawrence Winson investigated an incident where a stop sign was run over/knocked down on River Street. No damage amount listed.

 Theft

 Sept. 18 at 5:31 p.m. — Acting Cpl. Mills is investigating an incident of a wallet stolen from a car on Maine Avenue. Value of loss estimated at $100.

Wanted

 Walter Meader, 50, of Bethel is wanted on a Paris District Court warrant for unpaid fines for operating after suspension. The warrant was issued April 2.  Anyone with information is asked to notify the Rumford Police Department at (207) 364-4551 or by  e-mail to [email protected].
