JAY – A local woman is holding a yard sale from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 25, to benefit the American Cancer Society.

Hyla Friedman will hold the sale at her home at 1 Belmont Drive, located at the intersection of Skyline Road off Route 4 on Old Jay Hill. The sale will be on the Skyline Road portion.

Friedman said she has a variety of good items, including LL Bean and Alfred Dunner brands. There are clothes, winter jackets, a few small furniture items among other goods for sale.

She will accept donations for the items and will send the money along to the Cancer Society.
