We are set to get slammed with a massive tax hike in January if our representatives in Congress don’t act now.

The tax cuts on dividends and capital gains, passed back in 2003, are set to expire. If our elected officials let that happen, taxes on dividends will jump by as much as 164 percent and capital gains taxes by as much as 33 percent.

We cannot afford this. We need Sens. Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins and Rep. Michael Michaud to step up and stand up to make sure we don’t get crushed by this avalanche of taxes.
