RANGELEY — The next ladies/community breakfast, with everyone invited to attend, will be from 7 to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Moosely Bagels. Anyone with special dietary needs should call in advance for accommodations.

DAR to meet
RANGELEY — The Colonial Daughters Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at the home of member Jean Noyes, 770 South Shore Drive. The business meeting will be at 11 a.m., a potluck lunch will be served at noon and the program will be at 1 p.m.
John Frary of Farmington will be the guest speaker. His topic will be “The French Influence in The American Revolution.” The public is invited to attend.
Retired educators
RANGELEY — The Franklin County Retired Educators will meet at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, at the Episcopal Church of The Good Shepherd in Rangeley. There will be a program followed by a meeting and lunch.

Boiled dinner
INDUSTRY — A New England boiled dinner will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2, at the Industry Town Hall. The menu will include corned beef, ham, potatoes, cabbage, onions, beets, turnip, carrots, rolls, desserts and beverages.
It will benefit the United in Christ Presbyterian Church. Cost for adults is $7 and children under 12, $3.
