LEWISTON — The Franco-American Heritage Center has the support of its Fundraising Committee, organized for the annual Gala, under the leadership of Chip Morrison, president of the Lewiston/Auburn Chamber of Commerce, with co-chairpersons, Paul Dionne and Doris Bonneau.

The Gala and Benefit Concert with the Midcoast Symphony Orchestra, scheduled this year for Saturday, Oct. 23, with guest soloist, Charlotte Dobbs, is one of Lewiston-Auburn’s foremost social events and a significant cultural program on the center’s fundraising calendar.

The volunteers participating on the Fundraising Committee include Austin Lambert, Paul Dionne, Ray Lagueux, Larry Gilbert, Connie Cote, Ron Bissonnette, Louise Marcotte, Patti Gagne, Rachel Merrill, Chip Morrison, Aliette Couturier, Angie Murphy, Doris Bonneau, Richard Martin, Rita Dube and Elaine Roop.

The themed-event will include a gourmet food and wine reception prior to the concert and a champagne reception after the concert. Tickets are $50 each person. For more information on the event, visit www.francoamericanheritage.org or call the box office at 689-2000.
