WATERFORD — The Waterford World’s Fairgrounds will host the Brett’s 14th annual Hog Roast on Saturday, Sept. 25, to benefit fellow member Ben Church who was recently seriously injured in a motorcycle accident.

Church remains a patient at Maine Medical Center with several broken bones and internal injures. The admission fee for the day is $20 each person and will include entertainment with several bands playing, bike events, a supper and camping for those who wish to stay overnight.

At 10 a.m. there will be a motorcycle ride leaving from the Fairgrounds on Green Road in North Waterford. After the ride, there will be a bike show with trophies and ribbons and other bike events.

A supper with pork loin, turkey and beef, with all the fixings of salads and goodies will be served from 5 to 6 p.m. All of the daytime proceeds will go Church. For more information, call Dannie Brett at 461-4287 or Stacey at 743-5012.

A dance will begin at 8 p.m. in the dance hall with the Rockin’ Roadrunners band. Admission is $10 each person and all proceeds will go to the Waterford World’s Fair. For more information on the dance, call Penny at 583-4160 or 461-5466.
