Boxberry School students visited the Maine State Aquarium in West Boothbay Harbor recently. They ate lunch overlooking the harbor, then participated in the aquarium’s educational shark presentation. The students stood around the shark touch tank and listened and answered questions about some of the differences between sharks and fish. After the presentation, the students were instructed to pet the sharks and a few other sea creatures. From left, students Mae Gosnell and Allison S. hold and observe a starfish at the sea creature touch tank.
