BRUNSWICK — Emily Ranucci registered a hat trick Thursday as Edward Little raced away to a 3-0 win over Brunswick.

Miranda Martin and Marie Dufresne-Dixon also contributed for the Red Eddies (7-2) with assists. Amanda Williams made seven saves to notch the shutout, while Sydney Escoe turned back four shots between the posts for Brunswick.

Mt. Ararat 2, Oxford Hills 1

TOPSHAM — Charlotte Crosby took a cross from Caitlin Lafonatine and fired it into the net with 4:32 left in the second overtime to lift Mt. Ararat to a 2-1 victory over Oxford Hills in KVAC field hockey action Thursday.

The two squads were deadlocked at 1-1 after 45 minutes of play. Lafontaine scored for the Eagles with an assist from Carly Raymond, while Ashley West converted a pass from Hannah Warren to keep the Vikings (5-3) alive.

Raven Demasi made four saves for Mt. Ararat to notch the win, while Rachel Brennan turned back 11 shots for Oxford Hills.

Lewiston 3, Morse 2

BATH — Saba Naji grabbed a nice cross from Kelsey Dumond and slapped it into the net with six minutes left in regulation to give Lewiston a 3-2 victory over Morse in a KVAC tilt Thursday.

Dumond and Natalie Rousseau and also tallied for the Blue Devils to complete the scoring. Allison Lafreniere made 12 saves for Lewiston to record the win.

The winless Shipbuilders (0-7) received goals from Molly Hanscom and Aja McCloud.

Boys’ soccer

Mt. Blue 2, Lawrence 1

FAIRFIELD — Sam Richardson and Colton Hall scored

during a two-minute span of the first half to send Mt. Blue to a 2-1 victory over Lawrence in a boys’ soccer game Thursday.

Nick Nile and Bill Wells assisted on the two goals for Mt. Blue (4-2-1).

Tim Dudley brought Lawrence back with an unassisted tally with 13 minutes remaining, but Cougars goalie Matt Crowley prevented further damage for the victory.

Crowley finished with six saves, while Cody Fabian of Lawrence made 10 saves.

Georges Valley 3, Lisbon 0

THOMASTON — Georges Valley used a three-goal outburst in the first half to knock Lisbon from the unbeaten ranks in girls’ soccer with a 3-0 victory Thursday.

Georges Valley (7-0) received goals from Jess Veilleux, Jill Dudley and Rachel Frye. The Buccaneers enjoyed a 15-5 advantage in shots.

Kyrstin Ramich made 10 saves for Lisbon (5-1-1) , while Kennodi Grover stopped three shots.

Leavitt 1, Gardiner 0

TURNER — Taren McGray converted on a crossing pass from Mariah Treadwell for the game’s only goal to lift Leavitt to a 1-0 triumph over Gardiner in a KVAC girls’ soccer game Thursday.

The winning goal came with 25:35 remaining in the first half. McGray beat the Gardiner keeper with a shot into the lower left corner of the net.

Kelly Pomerleau made eight saves for Leavitt (6-2), while Jenn Day was credited with six saves for the Tigers (4-3).

Mt. Blue 1, Lawrence 1

FARMINGTON — Mackenzie Conlogue’s goal 2:17 into Thursday game was enough to earn Mt. Blue a 1-1 girls’ soccer tie with Lawrence on Thursday.

Rachel Karno set up the goal on a through ball. Lawrence (3-3) tied the game in the second half on Bailey Paquette’s goal.

Allison Brown had six saves for Mt. Blue. Jes Poulin of Lawrence made eight stops.

Oxford Hills 1, Lewiston 0

LEWISTON — Macey Manchester fired a shot from the left side that eluded Lewiston’s injured keeper to give Oxford Hills a 1-0 victory in a KVAC girls’ soccer matchup Thursday.

Bre Martin made 14 saves for the Vikings (2-5) to record the shutout.

Mackenzie Masselli turned back 14 shots in the cage for Lewiston (0-7).

Oak Hill 4, Maranacook 3

the second half, allowing Oak Hill to shake off Maranacook (5-3) with a 4-3 victory in a girls’ soccer game Thursday afternoon.

The Raiders (3-4) jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first half when Abby Goulet scored twice.

But the Black Bears rallied in the second half when Hannah Clough scored all three goals, unassisted.

Amanda Bloss, Julie Morneault, Megan Rodrigue and Gabby Green each earned assists on Oak Hill’s four goals.
