I’ve been listening to television commercials about Mike Michaud’s Republican opponent. They say Michaud doesn’t listen to his constituents and is disconnected with the concerns of us Mainers.

I have worked with him at a benefit spaghetti supper for displaced workers in Rumford. He has been there for question-and-answer sessions in more Maine towns than I can name here. He is always there for us veterans and is always working for us.

I agree with 90 percent of his voting record; votes that benefit Maine people.

I am not Republican, Democrat, tea party or whatever, but I do know that if it works, you don’t fix it.

Mike Michaud is still our Maine man, and we need to keep him working for veterans and all Maine folks.
