LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay Livermore Falls Seniors met at Murray Hall on Sept. 20 with 32 members present.

Chairwoman Shirley Couture opened the meeting with a prayer, salute to the flag and a moment of silence for departed members and for the men and women serving in the armed forces.

The secretary’s report was read and accepted.

Couture announced that there will be no meeting on Monday, Oct. 4, due to scheduling changes at the hall.

The VA Hospital at Togus is in need of coffee for the veterans and their families who visit. The group unanimously voted to donate for the cause.

After the meeting a Chinese auction was held, followed by refreshments, socializing and card games.
