DEAR SUN SPOTS: Farwell School PTA is holding its 41st annual pumpkin festival on Oct. 17 at Farwell School. We have a goal of raising $10,000 this year.

We would like to invite local crafters to rent a table in the craft fair area of the festival. This is great exposure for your crafts and a perfect opportunity to sell for the upcoming holidays. Tables are $30 and $15 for an additional table.

We would also like to invite any Farwell School alumni who would like to volunteer at the festival to do so. Anyone from age 12 and up that would like to contribute a couple of hours at the event would be very welcome.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: In an attempt to reunite skaters from the Bear Pond Park and the Mexico Roller Rink era, a skating reunion has been planned for Thursday, Oct. 21, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Auburn Rollodrome. Admission will be $5.

Whether you come to skate or just come to renew old friendships, we are looking forward to seeing you. If you know of family, friends or neighbors who used to skate at these former rinks, we encourage you to pass the word along.

DEAR SUN SPOTS: I have put together a fall shopping trip to the Wrentham Premium Outlet Mall located in Wrentham Mass., for Oct. 23. We will be leaving the Lewiston Park and Ride at approximately 7 a.m.and the Auburn Park and Ride at approximately 7:20 a.m. We will be returning at around 9 p.m.

I have some seats left on the bus. The cost is $30. Upon arrival at the mall we will be receiving a booklet with coupons that can be used in the mall.
