WEST ROXBURY, Mass. — Harold F. Coolidge, 81, of Turner, died Saturday, Sept. 18, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center.
He was born in Augusta, Feb. 11, 1929, the son of Herbert and Marion (Stone) Coolidge. Harold grew up in the Auburn area and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. After the war, he returned to Maine and worked for many years as a truck driver for DeCoster Egg Farms. In his retirement years, Harold drove a van for the Disabled American Veterans at Togus.
Mr. Coolidge is survived by his wife of nearly 25 years, Eleanor (Lauzier) Coolidge; a son, Gary Coolidge and his wife, Patty; and a daughter, Susan Strout and her husband, Reggie.
