BRUNSWICK — Local musician/instructor Courtney Babbidge and New England Youth Theater musical director Rebecca Beck have teamed up to form a Youth Choral program starting in October.

The choral program is geared toward elementary through high-school age students. The goal is to help students improve their musicianship through a varied repertoire with a focus on contemporary music.

The New England Youth Choir will begin on Monday, Oct. 11, from 4 to 5 p.m., for elementary-age students. The middle and high school ensemble will meet on Sunday afternoons. The a cappella group will be by audition only.
