BRUNSWICK — Robin Baitler, 55, of Lisbon, passed away Thursday, Sept. 23, at Parkview Adventist Medical Center, after a long illness.

He was born on March 31, 1955, in Augusta, the son of Wayne Baitler of Randolph and Carole Hall of Gardiner and his stepmother, Elaine Baitler and stepfather, Robert Hall.

His personal life was filled with the love of his family and good friends. His favorite hobby of all was racing. Whether he was in the car or at the track, he was happy. He never missed a race no matter how he was feeling, a day at the track always made him feel better. He raced for many years for Titus Racing No. 48 with 2006 being his last year.

He is survived by his loving wife, Norma Baitler of Lisbon; his son, Travis Dyer, his wife, Jenny and grandson, Hayden of Harrison; his daughter, Danah Baitler and companion, Dan Chabot of Lewiston.

The family would also like to extend a sincere thank-you to Rob’s special friends and family, Dave and Laurie Darveau, Debbie Soiett, Chad Croxford and Vern and Janice Hodgkins, and many many more. With a special thank-you to Dr. Timothy Howe, who was there with him through it all.
