Andy Dewing of Greenwood hands Kirsten Buckley a bowl of apple cider during Apple Saturday at Sabbathday Lake Shaker Village in New Gloucester. Buckley, a Windham native who lives in Boston, and Ned Brooks, center, of Portland picked apples at Thompson’s Orchard and brought them to Shaker Village to press into cider. Dewing, a volunteer at the village, will be at Sabbathday Lake with his 1880 circa press, right, the next two Saturday’s for those who would like to make fresh cider.
