Monthly supper

SUMNER — The Congregational Church of East Sumner will hold its monthly first Saturday supper at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 2.

The menu will feature a variety of dishes made with wild game as well as local produce and vegetarian dishes. Donations will be accepted at the door.

Breakfast

HARRISON — A breakfast for all ages will be held from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 3, at the Harrison VFW Post 9328, Waterford Road.

The menu will include scrambled eggs, home fries and hash browns, French toast, pancakes, sausage, bacon, sweet breads, fresh fruit cup, coffee and orange juice. Donations will be accepted.

Bridge results

OXFORD — The Oxford Hills Duplicate Bridge Club met Sept. 24 in the Recreaction Building on King Street. A six-and-a-half table Mitchell movement was played.

Finishing first in flight A n/s were Pete Cummings and Richard Allen. Second were Penny and Bob Thomas who also were first in flight B. Third in flight A were Jim Krainin and Milt McKeen who also were second in flight B and first in flight C. Third in flight B were Denny Raymond and Hank Sakrison. Claire Lyons and Cindy Clifford were fourth in flight A

Finishing first in flight A e/w were Kathy Feld and Nancy Farmer who also were first in flight B. Second in flight A were Mike Quinn and Les Buzzell. Third in A were Sue Farnum and Jim Dickens who also were second in flight B. Fourth in A were Helen kenison and Carol Coreard who also were third in B and first in flight C.
