I totally agree with Marpheen Berry’s statements in his letter Sept. 23. We tried Republicans and Democrats, and it did not work. Now is the best time to go for “independent.”

We really did not give independents a chance. We need something fresh to change the future for this state. I say, go for it.

I will vote for independent Eliot Cutler. I have checked everything about him and I like what he stands for, which is for all of us.
