I was more than impressed when I read about a woman who had lost her purse at a local discount store and then had it returned to her. It is nice that there are honest people.
I have a friend who lost her wallet at another local department store. Her purse contained a large sum of money that she had intended to deposit in a bank. Her wallet was not returned.
This is a horrible example that there are many dishonest people out there. They don’t care that the cost is greater than just the money lost. There are photos that cannot be replaced and personal items that are difficult and costly to replace.
I don’t understand how someone could do that, especially to an elderly person, when that money is already budgeted for food, electricity, heat and such.
