TURNER — Tori Zupancic and Abby Randall scored two goals apiece to lead Leavitt to an easy 8-0 triumph over Mt. View in a KVAC Class B girls’ soccer game Monday.

Also scoring for the Hornets (7-2) were Jenna Cote, Taren McGray, Ashley Dionne and Mariah Treadwell.

Kelly Pomerleau stopped the only shot she faced for the shutout. Amanda Larrabee made 12 saves for Mt. View (0-8).

Oak Hill 3, Rockland 0

ROCKLAND — Gabby Green scored the only goal of the first half to send Oak Hill to a 3-0 victory over Rockland.

Jessica Roberts and Jane Marston added unassisted goals for the Raiders (4-4).

Oak Hill enjoyed a 21-2 advantage in shots. Darby Beaulieu and Desiree Johns shared goalkeeper duties for the Raiders. Kim Young made 18 saves for Rockland (1-6-2).

Mt. Abram 0, Geo. Valley 0

SALEM —Mt. Abram’s defense and goalie Allie Lopez smothered unbeaten Georges Valley’s attack and earned a 0-0 deadlock.

The Buccaneers (7-0-1) outshot the Roadrunners 7-5 and enjoyed a 4-1 advantage in corner kicks, but Lopez stopped all six shots that threatened the goal. Kenadi Grover made five saves for Georges Valley.

Boys’ soccer

Wiscasset 3, Dirigo 1

WISCASSET — Trailing at halftime, unbeaten Wiscasset roared back with three unanswered goals to upend Dirigo 3-1 in an MVC boys’ soccer game Monday.

Hunter Ross scored on a breakaway to give Dirigo (5-2-1) the early advanatge. That would be Dirigo’s only shot on net.

After Ross Hanley tied the game for the Redskins (7-0-1), John McLeod scored the game-winner from Ashton Benn.

Caleb Turner made 11 saves for the Cougars.

Geo. Valley 1, Mt. Abram 0

SALEM — Drew Townsend gathered the ball in front of the cage off a deflection and scored the game’s only goal to lift Georges Valley to a 1-0 victory over Mt. Abram.

The goal came with 3:07 remaing in regulation.

Josh Beedy finished with five saves for the Roadrunners (3-2-3), while Ben Caron made two saves for Georges Valley (3-5-1).

Oak Hill 5, Rockland 1

WALES — Dalton Burns registered three goals and Jamiel Kidd added two more to lead Oak Hill to a 5-1 victory over Rockland.

Ben Meservey added a pair of assists for the Raiders (4-3-1), while Sam Hatch, Kidd and Adam Beaulieu also got in on the action with assists. Tyler Pelletier stopped seven shots to record the win.

Lisbon 8, Carrabec 2

NORTH ANSON — Lisbon erupted for seven second half goals to break a 1-1 tie to down Carrabec 8-2.

Mike Degou , Austin Barry, and Morgan Reeves all scored a pair of goals for the Greyhounds (4-4). Degou also added a pair of assists. Juniors Ryan Fairbanks and Justin Grant each had a goal and an assist for Lisbon while Brady Fenderson and Reeves each chipped in with assists.

Goalies Chris Healy stopped 25 shots for Carrabec while Shane Tanguay turned away four for Lisbon.

Field hockey

Dirigo 3, Jay 1

JAY — Freshman forward Brooke Holmquist struck the back of the net early in the first half and teammate Hannah Knight scored less than four minutes later to lift Dirigo to a 3-1 victory over Jay.

Bri Farrington scored for Jay (4-6) to cut the lead to 2-1 at halftime. Holmquist would give the Cougars (3-8) insurance with her second goal.

Ashlee Quirrion turned away a pair of shots for Jay, while Betsy Noyes stopped eight in net for the win.

Telstar 2, Lisbon 1

BETHEL — Junior forward Kallie Brown knocked in a pass from Katie Sumner with 1:32 left in regulation to lift Telstar to a 2-1 victory over Lisbon in a MVC field hockey clash.

Kayla Merrill scored off a rebound late in the first half to give the Rebels (9-1) a 1-0 lead.

Bailey Madore tied the game for Lisbon (5-5) on Jessica Campbell’s pass midway through the second half.

Telstar’s Hali Barter stopped five shots, while Haylee Jamison stopped 19 for Lisbon.

Traip 4, Poland 0

POLAND — Kaylie Andrews scored three goals to lead Traip to a 4-0 victory over Poland.

Andrews scored a pair of first-half goals to put the Rangers (2-8) up 2-0 at halfime. She opened the second half with a score off a corner to complete the hat trick. Madeline Lawrence also scored for Traip

Melora Lavoie turned away eight shots for the Knights (0-10). Alyssa Lawrence stopped all five shots she faced in the victory.
