MONMOUTH — A celebration of life was held Monday for James J. Adams, at Bragdon-Finley Funeral Home. His son, Jimmy, gave the welcoming address and final remarks. Family members shared some of their favorite stories about their dad and grandfather. His daughter, Tricia, read the 23rd Psalm and son, Chris, led the Lord’s Prayer. Lynn Gwadosky read notes from Dan’s family. Music selections were “Battle Hymn of the Republic” and the “Marine Hymn.” Interment will be in the Maine Veterans’ Cemetery in Augusta, at a later date.
