LEWISTON — Violet B. DiRenzo, 79, of Jay, died Monday, Sept. 27, at the St. Marguerite d’Youville Pavilion.
She was born May 13, 1931, in Wilton, the daughter of Linwood and Bertha (Burnham) Dill.
She worked at Livermore Shoe and also at Bass Shoe as a hand sewer for many years. She enjoyed fishing, playing cards and loved her special boat rides. She also loved being with her children, grandchildren and sisters.
Violet is survived by her children, Rosemary Levesque and her husband, Paul, of Jay, George Newcomb Jr. and his wife, Trish, of Livermore Falls, Peggy Hansen of Topsham, Ann Marie Richard and her husband, Steve, of Jay, Victor Butterfield and his wife, Pam, of Jay, and Sueleen Gallogly and her husband, Billy, of Rhode Island; sisters, Mildred Coolidge of East Dixfield and Beverly of Connecticut; brothers, Mark and Randy Dill of Connecticut; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents; a son, Michael; and sisters, Lula and Linda.
