EAST WILTON — Funeral services for William C. Bryant Sr. were held Saturday at the East Wilton Union Church. Pastor Park offered the opening prayer. “Amazing Grace” was performed by Addie Olson. Psalm 23 was the featured scripture reading. A piano solo was offered by Lydia Danielle Bryant. “Mansion Just Over The Hilltop” was sung by the congregation. “No More Night” was sung by Philip Bryant and Marcus Corey and his sister, Becky offered musical selections. There was a period of open mic where family and friends shared memories and Pastor Ron Corey, son-in-law of Mr. Bryant, offered a homily and closing prayer. Following the services, a fellowship luncheon was held in the church undercroft. Interment followed at 2:30 p.m. at the East Peru Cemetery, where members of the Maine Military Funeral Honors program performed the veteran’s recognition. Pallbearers were Marcus Corey, Noah Bryant, Joshua Bryant, Adam Bryant, Sean Bryant and Jedediah Malcore. Funeral services were cared for by the Wiles Remembrance Center of Wilton.
