WELD — There will be two foliage viewing hikes open to the public Saturday, Oct. 2, Mt. Blue State Park Manager Bruce Farnham said.
An easier, shorter hike will start at the Center Hill parking lot.
A longer and more ambitious hike will begin in the parking lot at the base of Mt. Blue. The latter will take about four hours round trip.
The Park’s campground is staying open a little bit longer this year, he said.
Normally it closes on Oct. 1 but will remain open until Monday, Oct. 11, to accommodate campers for Columbus Day weekend.
