EAST WILTON — Western Maine Community Action invites artists from Androscoggin, Oxford and Franklin counties to participate in the “Comfort, Woe and Wonder” exhibit at the administrative building at 20A Church St.

The organization requests each artist submit one to four pieces of original works to be displayed. There is no fee and no jury. The exhibit will include artists in order of their response. To indicate an interest is participating, e-mail [email protected] by Oct. 1.

The space is limited and artists are urged to respond as soon as possible. Provide a description, the dimensions and medium of the submissions. Only wall hung work will be accepted.

The artist’s contact information and prices will be available to the public during the exhibit. Any sales will be conducted between the customer and artist. No commission will be charged, but a voluntary donation of five to 10 percent of any sale to a WMCA program of the artist’s choice is requested.

Display space will be in the grand foyers and conference rooms. This is not a gallery space. Visitors, board members, staff, clients and community partners frequent the building. The exhibit will be available for public view in the foyers during all regular business hours, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

A reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 28. For more information, e-mail [email protected].
