Many Democrats think that a vote for Eliot Cutler is a vote for Paul LePage. I decided long before the primaries that Cutler was the best candidate for Maine. Fiscally conservative; sound, detailed plans for the economy, education, welfare and government spending; and I’m impressed, not embarrassed, every time he speaks.

I am suffering the same frustration with government that the majority of Mainers are suffering. We’re spending too much money for too little return.

But Maine has so much potential, incredibly creative, hard-working people, and natural resources most states only dream of. But we’ve been missing strong, focused leadership with a vision and a plan for Maine.

That leader is Eliot Cutler.
