LEWISTON — State Sen. Deborah Simpson, D-Androscoggin County, and Rep. Richard Wagner, D-Lewiston, are co-hosting a TV show on the cable local access channel on the future of rail service to the Lewiston-Auburn area.

Simpson is filling in for the usual co-host, Sen. Margaret Craven, D-Androscoggin County, this month. The guests will be Roland Miller, Auburn’s Economic Development director, and Rep. Michael Carey, D-Lewiston, a member of the Legislature’s Transportation Committee.

The show, entitled “Answers From Augusta,” will air on cable channel 11 every Monday in October at 10 a.m. and 9 p.m.

“The possibilities of increased rail service for the area are very exciting and I think people in the L-A area will be glad to hear about them,” Simpson said. “There is a lot going on, and it is important to get the word out.”
