The Sabattus Sanitary District received the 2010 Certificate of Achievement Award at the 2010 fall Maine Wastewater Control Association Convention earlier this month. Andrew Fisk of the Maine Department of Environmental Protection presented the award to Superintendent Paul Morin, center, and operators Mark Duquette, left, and Tom Hallowell, right. The award is presented each year to the facility that demonstrates excellence in treatment and preventive maintenance programs that are involved in wastewater treatment. The staff is responsible for the maintenance and operations of the Sabattus Water Division as well.
