RUMFORD — The Chisholm Ski Club is seeking volunteers for work days that will take place from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 2 and Oct. 9, at Black Mountain of Maine. The work will be done rain or shine as the club prepares for the 2011 US Cross Country Championships to be held at the mountain in January.

There will be a wide selection of volunteer activities to choose from. Volunteers should bring tools such as hammers, crowbars, clippers, cordless drills and brush cutters. Paint, brushes and gloves will be provided along with coffee, tea, donuts and lunch.
