LEWISTON — The Daycare Connection will hold a training workshop from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the New Life Community Center at 134 College St. The workshop title will be “The Value of Storytelling” and will be lead by storyteller and Early Childhood Specialist Jodi Fein.

The Daycare Connection is a nonprofit membership organization for child care providers and early childhood professionals throughout Androscoggin County. Cost for a yearly membership is $25 which includes a monthly workshop held on the first Tuesday night of each month from October to May.

All workshops participants receive a two-hour training certificate towards state required early childcare development hours. If interested in receiving a training brochure or more information on the organization, contact Debbie Bellemare at 777-3357.
