I write in support of Ellie Espling for state representative in District 105, which covers Durham, Lisbon and New Gloucester. I support her because she supports responsible government spending.
She believes Maine has too many unfunded programs. Many constituents who work in the medical field have told her that some hospitals never receive reimbursement from such programs as Dirigo Health and Medicare. That isn’t right. The state shouldn’t have programs it cannot afford. Providing such services creates more problems for more people than it helps.
If she is elected on Nov. 2, she will do everything she can to make Maine more responsible for its spending. She won’t support initiatives that don’t have a plan to pay for them.
I hope others will join me in support of Ellie Espling. She believes in a better Maine and will work hard to make that Maine a reality.
