AUBURN — Richard Martel and Carla Lake were honored recently by a surprise family dinner at Rolandeau’s Restaurant in celebration of their 25th wedding anniversary.

The gathering was arranged by Mr. Martel’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Martel. Guests included Carol Martel and her grandchildren, Bailey, Madison and Aidan, Connie and Paul Amnott and son, Scott, and best man, Robert Martel.

Ms. Lake is the daughter of the late Carl and Marion Lake .

The couple was married at Court Street Baptist Church on Aug. 31, 1985. After living in New York and New Hampshire, they returned to Maine and presently reside in Auburn.
