We are being exposed to politics at its worst in the upcoming race for governor. The obvious media bias against Shawn Moody and Kevin Scott is appalling.

Moody is a straightforward, compassionate, honest, true-to-his-word family man.

He is also a very successful, self-made businessman. In order for Maine to move ahead, it must be run like a business and stay within a budget.

Moody knows that if Maine is to ever be prosperous again, the next governor will need to work with the next Legislature to reduce unemployment, support current small businesses and attract new business, reform the state welfare system, create more competition in health care insurance, and make much needed changes to the education system.

I am convinced that Shawn Moody is the very best candidate for governor. I will be voting for him in November.
