AUBURN — Frederick “Fred” Addams, 58, a resident of Canton, died Tuesday, Oct. 5, at the Hospice House of Androscoggin.

He was born in Farmington, July 9, 1952, the son of Willard Addams and Golda Williams.

Fred worked as an auto body technician most of his life. He was married four times, with eight children — seven girls and one boy — and he was very proud of all of them. He was self-educated and well-read. He enjoyed his daily horoscope, Chinese food and Cheez-Its. Fred volunteered at the Good Shepherd Food-Bank and assisted his niece in her home business when he was well.
