Monsta will rock Club Texas
The rock band Monsta will rock Club Texas in Auburn on Friday, Oct. 8. Mr. Mike of WTOS will hand out backstage passes to see Black Label Society, a hard-core metal band that will perform along with hard rockers Clutch, Children of Bodom and 2 Cent on Saturday, Oct. 9, at the Androscoggin Bank Colisee in Lewiston. Someone will also walk away with a new guitar to be signed by Zakk Wylde, former lead guitarist and co-writer for Ozzy Osbourne. Hailing from Rumford, Monsta is made up of Dano McDonald, lead vocals; Mike Downs, lead guitar; Rene “Millionaire” Lee, rhythm guitar; Troy “God of Thunder” P., bass guitar; and D-No Gilbert, drums. Tickets, $5, will be sold at the door. The show will begin at 9 p.m.; doors will open at 8.
